
PathMaster Software
To capture the full value of an IMT network we have developed a comprehensive application that manages and leverages the networked appliances. The PathMaster application ensures that realtime network configuration and monitoring is easy. You can create input/output assignments, control matrix routing, monitor network performance or configure various network services such as audio DSP signal processing. PathMaster runs on a host PC and communicates via USB to the FC101 network fiber module in OMNInet systems or via Ethernet UDP on SmartBuss networks.
The audio DSP signal processing chain is a coeffiecient-configurable, fixed-program, 24 bi-quad per channel architecture, providing a full set of user programmable processing functions. Combinations of filter functions can be achieved using the bi-quads. For example, a 2nd order Butterworth low pass filter would only need one bi-quad.
Control of remote channels is accomplished using a 6.144Mb/s API channel embedded within the management architecture. The audio DSP GUI is part of the comprehensive PathMaster Design and Control software suite.
